The lives of shelter dogs can be so much more challenging than we can ever perceive. With such a limited space to play in and even more limited chances to explore the world outside their crates or cages, most shelter dogs meet their end without having to experience nature.
But some lucky dogs get it! The dreams of a shelter dog named Bagel, aged three, came true when the staff of Austin Animal Center, an animal shelter, took her on a field trip. What they witnessed was adorable.
Bagel couldn’t stop smiling, and her eyes wouldn’t stop sparkling. The pooch enjoyed every bit of nature. She sniffed the grass, explored the woods, dived into the ponds, and splashed the water with joy! No doubt, she enjoyed the field trip more than anyone!
She couldn’t just stop herself from loving nature and got so exhausted that she even took a nap on a rock. As soon as she woke up, she resumed her playful explorations once again.
Indeed, shelter homes have limited resources available for the animals, but such activities are helpful for the animals’ health and well-being. Although it is impossible to take every dog on a field trip, some cute little gestures like this one can ultimately make the dogs live their dreams.
The shelter staff shared several photos online of Bagel enjoying nature. In the pictures, you can see that the pooch enjoyed every moment of the field trip. Her dreams came true, and she was the liveliest dog at the moment.
Dog lovers who saw the post about Bagel’s field trip expressed their immense love for the shelter dog for being so lovely and playful. We appreciate such kind gestures and look forward to all the beautiful stories out there! Hopefully, more dogs would get to experience such a nice field trip.
