Generally, every country and nation has established laws that govern the movement of traffic, pedestrians, speed, and street hazards. These regulations are for the protection of all that travel the roads, whether driving or walking. We all know locations where citizens choose to avoid the laws, and one such city is Batumi in Georgia.

Motorists in this town are so in a rush that pedestrians must give way to automobiles! Fortunately for the pedestrians, they have one furry volunteer to protect their rights.
A citizen, Beqa Tsinadze witnessed an exciting event in the street in Batumi. There was a group of children on the sidewalk, waiting for the vehicles to allow them to pass in the marked crosswalk. Sadly, the drivers did not permit the children the courtesy to pass without forcing them to do so.
Then an extraordinary event occurred. A stray dog happened to appear in the street and behaved as if he knew the children needed help crossing the street. He became a protective shield to get the kids and other pedestrians safely through the traffic. The pooch handled the situation like a pro and went after oncoming cars by barking at them to slow down.
As time passed, the community learned that this pooch, on several occasions, has been seen being a “crossing guard” and managing the traffic on various streets of Batumi.
Rumors say, a few years ago, the pooch came to the neighborhood as a stray. Since then, this little dog has endeared himself to the people in the community, who took it upon themselves to look after him.
See how he is always on duty for the community
People in the community call the dog by various names. However, it would certainly be safe to call him an “extraordinary friend.”
